Hello! I'm cyberswampvvitch aka morkkis. I also make art (sometimes) and also trying to get into (hobbyist) game developing! The purpose of this site is basically unrestricted self-expression where I can just dump and ramble about whatever bullshit comes to mind :D Whether that's incoherent leftist screeching, media I'm obsessed with or stuff about my personal life, I can just put it here without stressing about palatability, algorithms, future employers, etc. That's kind of basic, but it seems to be a common reason to join the indie web - escape from the fun and not at all dystopian state of the algo-driven, AI (and non-AI) slop-filled internet of today. Animanga (particularly the ones that lean more towards seinen/josei), videogames, TTRPG's, and various pieces of media. I'm basically always having brainrot over some show or game or another :D My hobbies include art, crochet, and playing the drums!

I also love social science, political science, sociology, and legal science/jurisprudence. Which is why I'm studying those things. I find subjects like these really fascinating, even though they come with the small side effect of sinking into a pit of despair over how fucked society is lol
